Government suggest this lifts the Bureaucratic burden which will speed up building , my view is , it takes away a layer of protection for our Sports clubs and could leave them vulnerable. Supporting our local sports clubs

There is so much good news coming out of Earlswood Town FC under the stewardship of Chairman Andy Walker. They have a thriving junior section which hopefully in the future will provide players for the 1st team who play in the Midland Football League division 2. It was a pleasure to be a match day sponsor for this afternoons fixture against local rivals Knowle and along with over 100 spectators we were treated to a five goal thriller with Knowle coming out on top with a 3-2 win. The welcome and atmosphere around the club is excellent and everyone receives a warm and genuine welcome. This...

Bridle Path Flooded in Dickens Heath

Thanks go to a resident from Shirley/Majors Green for highlighting this issue. The map shows the location of the bridlepath, that leads from Dickens Heath Road, through green space and towards Bills Lane. There is a smashing circular walk, but unfortunately, as you can see from the video, there is a stretch that is completely impassable; even though the path has rock underneath. Our Bridleways and footpaths are a great way of exploring our beautiful ward and play a part in our Well-being, whether you are a dog walker, rambler or enjoying a family walk its important these are maintained...
