Fulford Green – update on our thoughts
Myself and Cllr Ken Hawkins are increasingly concerned with the amount of developers considering or about to submit plans to build on the green belt within the Tidbury Green and Dickens Heath boundaries.
There are huge pressures attached to any submission around Sustainability and loss of Green belt . We are continually monitoring all potential plans and will update accordingly.

Land at Fulford Hall Road – Call for Sites
Another sizeable proposal within the 330+ submissions in the councils ‘call for sites’ is land we know as Fulford Green. This has been submitted before and was not included in the now withdrawn local plan. Then, proposal looked for 1800+ homes. It seems the developers. Summix, are now looking for 850 homes and press reports have revealed they have submitted proposals to Solihull Council. These have yet to be validated, therefore there is no formal application just yet.

Land West of Rumbush Lane – Call for Sites
The councils ‘Call for Sites’ has brought about over 300 submissions and we continue to trawl through them. It is important to note they are just submissions at this stage and the councils planning and development officers will assess each site before submitting a report as to the suitability of any sites moving forward to the submission plan – which will then go through an extensive consultation process.
