This weekend along with Cllr Ken Hawkins who is in his 4th year of being a match day sponsor I attended the MFL Division 1 fixture between Chelmsley Town and Stapenhill. The welcome all supporters received was first class and very genuine, the amount of work behind the scenes to make the match day experience an enjoyable one is a credit to all the volunteers .
Ken has a positive philosophy which is “Local sports need our support, if you are able to, please reach out to them.” The match finished in a 1-1 draw and was of high quality . We are already planning our next visit.
